| All HTRT members are trained to Trench Rescue Technicial Level provided by the Ohio |
| | Task Force-1 (FEMA USAR Team). HTRT is capable of handling most trench collapse involving underground utilities, construction site accidents, natural disasters and cave-ins.

| All members are trained in tower rescue and advanced high angle rescue. The team trains |
| | on a regular basis and is well prepared to handle any and all rope calls.
